I can be quite sentimental and no other holiday brings that feeling out in me more than Turkey Day. Feeding people has always been a love language I speak but I love to express my love and appreciation in other ways too.

Ever since I can remember, we had the family tradition of going around the table and saying what we were thankful for in that moment on the holiday. I am never one to stray from a beautiful tradition and have found that I enjoy taking inherited practices down and giving them my own touch. I’ve learned that writing something down helps people express themselves more easily since they can get caught up in speaking their feelings out loud on the spot. If you have sat down at my table on this holiday, there is always a piece of paper and a pen to write your thankful thoughts down on to share or to keep for yourself because after all, it is your personal gratitude.

The placards are an extension of this practice because, who doesn’t love to see their name written out and placed in a thoughtful manner?

I have always loved this holiday, and its true message of thankfulness continues to deepen for me with every passing year. I hope that you will add an LPF thankful note & place card to your table this year.

Check back as we will be sharing with you all of the ways you can share your thankfulness with others this month. Order your packs here!
